The International Cricket Council (ICC) gave T-Twenty matches of all member countries the International Status, ICC announced in the board meeting. During the ICC Board meeting in Kolkata, the most important progress came from the World Governing Body, under which the ICC gave T-Twenty Status to all its member countries, now all members team can play International T-Twenty matches. Apart from this, plans to introduce global rankings of this format are also being planned. According to the statement released by the ICC, it was decided to promote cricket internationally so that all teams can play cricket in a sustainable and efficient way. In this regard, from July 1 this year, Women's teams of all member countries will be allowed to play T-Twenty International cricket, while Men's teams of all member countries will be eligible to play international cricket in a short format from 1st January 2019.
